Other Resources
The Okanagan Historical Society’s annual reports have been published almost every year since the 1930s. Together, these reports are an astounding collection of stories that are often the only record of the changing life and times in the Okanagan Valley. They are a remarkable, much treasured and invaluable source of information.
The Kelowna Daily Courier often includes stories about the town’s early days, in addition to reporting on current happenings. I’ve often referred to their articles for stories about Kelowna’s history.
Internet resources have revolutionized the way we learn about our history. I delved often, and with relief that so much information is available so readily. Most of it supported information I was researching from other sources. I’m grateful to those whose material is online for all to use.
