WILSON, Alan "Al" ("Dirt"), football player (b 6 Apr 1950, Duncan). He played high school FOOTBALL with the Cowichan Timbermen and college ball with Montana State Univ, then became a CFL legend with the BC LIONS. He joined the Lions in 1972 and captained the team from 1975 to his retirement in 1986. He was selected as a Western Conference and Canadian all-star for 7 consecutive seasons, won the CFL award for most outstanding offensive lineman (1977) and led the team to 2 Grey Cup finals,...
