Westley

WESTLEY, on the CPR and the COLUMBIA R 7 km west of CASTLEGAR, was a railway supply centre and SAWMILLING settlement in the early 1900s. The Yale-Columbia Lumber Co operated a mill from 1902 to 1909, when it burned down. It was rebuilt by the Westley Lumber Co in 1927 but burned again in 1931.
