Crawford Bay


CRAWFORD BAY, on the east side of KOOTENAY LK 75 km north of CRESTON, was a port of call in the steamship era. The landing, Port Crawford, was at the head of the bay, but the main settlement, called Crawford Bay, developed just inland in the early 1900s.
