Point Fairfax


Point Fairfax (48˚42'00" 123˚18'00" S point of Moresby I, Gulf Is). After Rear Adm Fairfax Moresby of the RN, cdr-in-chief of the Pacific Station, 1850–53. See Moresby I. The point may also be named after Lt Fairfax Moresby, the admiral’s son (see Fairfax I).
