Insect Island


Insect Island (50˚45'00" 126˚37'00" Between Baker I and Eden I in the Broughton Archipelago, NE end of Queen Charlotte Str). The derivation of the name is unclear, though it appears on Admiralty charts as early as 1867, as does adjacent Fly I (now a Tsawataineuk First Nation reserve named Kukwapa).
