World Soundscape Project


WORLD SOUNDSCAPE PROJECT, a research group founded in the late 1960s with headquarters at SFU, has secured Canada a place in the forefront of the study of soundscape ecology. The project seeks to understand the relationship between human beings and our sonic environment, and ultimately to bring balance and harmony to this relationship. It was initiated by the musician R.
