WALKER, Larry, baseball player (b 1 Dec 1966, Maple Ridge). The best player BC has produced, he joined the Montreal Expos organization in 1984. The National League club called him up from the minors in 1989 and he played in Montreal until signing with the Colorado Rockies in 1995.
