SKAGIT RIVER  () rises in MANNING PROVINCIAL PARK near Allison Pass and, after following the HOPE–PRINCETON HWY north and west, veers south through Skagit Valley Provincial PARK (279.48 sq km) to Ross Lk, a reservoir straddling the US border.
