ROGERS, Alfred Harold Douglas "Doug," judoka (b 26 Jan 1941, Truro, NS; d 20 July 2020, Steveston). Raised in St Catharines, Montreal and VANCOUVER, he became Canada's JUDO champion. He trained for 5 years at Japan's Kodokan School of Judo and as a member of the Takushoku Univ judo team, and while in Japan he appeared in several movies including Godzilla.
