Point Ellice House

POINT ELLICE HOUSE was built on Pleasant St in VICTORIA in 1861 and bought by Peter O'REILLY and his wife Caroline in 1867. The house and its lovely garden remained in the O'Reilly family for more than a century; in 1974 it became a provincial historic site, restored to the pre-WWI period. The house has a reputation for being haunted by the O'Reillys' daughter Kathleen, who lived there until 1945.
