Kootenay River

KOOTENAY RIVER rises in the ROCKY MTS west of Banff and flows south into and along the floor of the ROCKY MT TRENCH. At CANAL FLATS it passes within 2 km of Columbia Lk, the headwaters of the COLUMBIA R.
