HERRIDGE, Herbert W. "Bert," politician (b 1895, Ramsdean, England; d 19 Oct 1973, Nakusp). He came to Canada as a youngster with his parents, who settled at NAKUSP in 1907. After attending agricultural college in Ontario he returned to the family property. During WWI he was wounded in France and never regained full use of one arm.
