Granthams Landing

GRANTHAMS LANDING, 35 km northwest of VANCOUVER, is a small residential and recreational community and former steamship stop on the west shore of HOWE SOUND between GIBSONS and the ferry terminal at Langdale. Frederic C. Grantham, a Vancouver lime-juice maker, bought land here in 1909; he then subdivided it, put in roads, sidewalks, water lines and a wharf and marketed his property as the Howe Sound Beach resort.
