GOSS, Wayne, lacrosse player (b 13 Mar 1947, New Westminster). The most complete box LACROSSE player ever to play in BC, he excelled at every aspect of the game during his 14-year career with the NEW WESTMINSTER SALMONBELLIES. A league all-star 11 times, he also was rookie of the year in 1968, MVP 4 times, playoff MVP 3 times, and Mann Cup MVP in 1981. When he retired in 1981 he held or shared 45 league records.
