Clyne, John Valentine


CLYNE, John Valentine, jurist, forestry executive (b 14 Feb 1902, Vancouver; d 22 Aug 1989, Vancouver). He graduated from UBC, studied at the London School of Economics and was called to the BC Bar in 1927. Clyne specialized in maritime law and was appointed chair of the Canadian Maritime Commission in 1947.
