Clarkson, Reginald Louis

CLARKSON, Reginald Louis, athlete (b 19 Aug 1925, Victoria; d 16 April 2012, Surrey). One of BC's greatest all-round athletes, he was a standout in BASEBALL, BASKETBALL, FOOTBALL, SOCCER and LACROSSE. He started his professional baseball career with the VANCOUVER Capilanos in 1946 and worked his way up to first-team all-star status the next year on the Brooklyn Dodgers class A team in Pueblo, CO.
