CLARK, Glen David, politician, premier 22 Feb 1996–25 Aug 1999 (b 22 Nov 1957, Nanaimo). He grew up on the east side of VANCOUVER and graduated from UBC with an MA in community planning. As an organizer for the Ironworkers Union, he became active in the provincial NDP and was first elected to the provincial legislature in 1986.
