Cascade Mountains


CASCADE MOUNTAINS extend roughly from CULTUS LK east to the SIMILKAMEEN R and north from the US border to LYTTON. They consist of 3 ranges: the Skagit on the west, the Hozameen and the Okanagan. Dividing the FRASER R canyon from the OKANAGAN VALLEY, they are the northern end of an American range that runs south to California and includes several volcanic peaks, among them Mt BAKER and Mt St Helens.
