Broadwater

BROADWATER was a farming settlement (see AGRICULTURE) in southeast BC on the east shore of Lower ARROW LK, 35 km northwest of CASTLEGAR. It was named for the width of the lake before the KEENLEYSIDE DAM was built in 1965. The site was flooded by the dam construction and the lake became even wider.
