Boulding, James "Jim"


BOULDING, James "Jim," outdoor educator (b 1932, Calgary; d 7 May 1986). He grew up in PENTICTON and attended UBC, where he met his future wife Myrna Baikie. After marrying in 1955, the Bouldings taught school in NANAIMO, then moved north in 1957 to teach in CAMPBELL RIVER. Soon afterward they took over STRATHCONA PARK LODGE, on upper Campbell Lk; the lodge had been rescued from flooding by Myrna's family.
