Barrow, Francis John


BARROW, Francis John, coastal pioneer (b 1876, London, England; d 1944). He came to BC in 1903 to visit his brother, then returned in 1905. In England the next year he married Amy Bradford; together they moved to a small farm near SIDNEY and began their summer excursions along the INSIDE PASSAGE in their boat the Toketie.
