Inside Passage


INSIDE PASSAGE is the corridor of protected water between the mainland coast of BC and its offshore ISLANDS. The passage extends about 1,600 km from Puget Sound in Washington state to Skagway, AK. In the south it passes the Lower Mainland with its teeming population and continues north through GEORGIA STRAIT into the jumble of islands between VANCOUVER ISLAND and the mainland.
