Yates Point

Yates Point (49˚16'00" 126˚03'00" SE end of Flores I, Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Thomas N Yates pre-empted land on Esowista Peninsula in 1912. Yates Point was formerly known as Base Point but was renamed by the hydrographic service in 1934.
