Wreck Beach


Wreck Beach (49˚15'00" 123˚15'00" Just NE of Point Grey, W tip of Vancouver). Vancouver’s famous nude beach is named after a derelict ship that lay in the mud just offshore in the late 1940s and ’50s. There are also several wrecked barges in the vicinity. The name didn’t become official until 1982, though clothing has been optional here since the early 1970s. E
