Wingate Point


Wingate Point (52˚36'00" 128˚45'00" SW entrance to Meyers Passage, Laredo Sd, NW end of Swindle I, NW of Bella Bella). Lt Walter Wingate of the RCNVR was listed in 1916–17 as CO of HMCS Grilse, a motor yacht (the former Winchester) that was converted to a torpedo boat and operated out of Halifax.
