Wilson Point


Wilson Point (50˚21'00" 125˚20'00" N of Edward Point, W side of Sonora I, N of Campbell R). George Wilson of nearby Hemming Bay was “the oldest living resident of the area,” according to a 1969 letter at BC’s Geographical Names Office from a BC Forest Service ranger at Thurston Bay. Wilson is believed to have lived in the vicinity until sometime in the 1960s.
