Williamsons Landing


Williamsons Landing (49˚27'00" 123˚28'00" W side of Thornbrough Channel, W side of Howe Sd, NW of Vancouver). George Edward Williamson (1865–1932) was a Vancouver building contractor and the first person to build a summer home at this location. He was born at Orillia, Ont, served as a soldier in the NW Rebellion and came out to Vancouver in 1888.
