Warner Rock


Warner Rock (48˚57'00" 125˚21'00" Loudoun Channel, SW of Lyall Point, Barkley Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Orlando Warner (1841–99), from Pugwash, NS, worked in Victoria as a ship’s carpenter and acquired a Crown grant of land NW of Toquart Bay in 1892. His wife, Jane, born in Ireland, died at Victoria in 1911.
