Muster Rock


Muster Rock (52˚16'20" 128˚23'17" Between Ivory I and Watch I, S entrance to Perrin Anchorage, Seaforth Channel, NW of Bella Bella). Named, but misspelled, for Lucy Sophia Musters (1844–75), the wife of retired British Army officer William Chaworth Musters. The Musters were among the first settlers at Comox in 1862 and brought with them the district’s first team of horses for ploughing.
