Walter Bay


Walter Bay (48˚51'00" 123˚29'00" S side of Ganges Hbr, E side of Saltspring I, Gulf Is). Edward Walter (1855–1933), who came to Canada from England in 1885, purchased a large block of land adjacent to this bay. He was an active member of the Islands Farmers’ Institute and also logged and made charcoal on his property.
