Turnagain Island


Turnagain Island (49˚32'00" 123˚58'00" W of Secret Cove, W side of Sechelt Peninsula, NE entrance to Welcome Passage, NW of Vancouver). The name first appears on an Admiralty chart published in 1865 but based on a survey conducted by Capt George Richards and HMS Plumper in 1860.
