Tsowwin Narrows


Tsowwin Narrows (49˚47'00" 126˚39'00" At mouth of the Tsowwin R, Tahsis Inlet, opposite E side of Nootka I, W side of Vancouver I), Tsowwin River (49˚47'00" 126˚38'00" Flows W into Tsowwin Narrows). Named for the Mowachaht reserve located just N of the narrows, once the site of Tsawun, an important Nuu-chah-nulth First Nation village.
