Swartz Bay


Swartz Bay (48˚41'17" 123˚24'25" N end of Saanich Peninsula, N of Victoria), Swartz Head (Extreme NE tip of Saanich Peninsula, just E of Swartz Bay). John Aaron Swart purchased 34 ha of land in the vicinity of the bay from John Otto in 1876. His brother Lansing Otis Swart appears to have lived on the property as well.
