Sunnyside Beach


Sunnyside Beach (49˚18'00" 122˚52'00" N side of Port Moody, just E of Vancouver). The Dockrill family settled at Dockrill Point (qv) in 1883 and established a homestead and shingle mill. Their wharf, called Dockrill’s Landing at first, became better known as Sunnyside Landing, and this later name became attached to the nearby beach.
