Stubbs Point


Stubbs Point (51˚59'00" 128˚13'00" S side of Dodwell I, off S side of Campbell I, SW of Bella Bella). Lt Cdr John Hamilton Stubbs, DSO, DSC (1913–44), was born at Kaslo and raised in Victoria. He joined the RCN in 1930 and trained in Britain, returning to Canada in 1935 as navigator of HMCS Skeena, a destroyer.
