St Vincent Bay


St Vincent Bay (49˚49'00" 124˚05'00" N side of Jervis Inlet, W of the mouth of Hotham Sd, E of Powell R). British naval cdr Sir John Jervis was created Baron Jervis of Meaford and Earl St Vincent in 1797 after his major victory over a larger Spanish fleet at the Battle of Cape St Vincent earlier that year.
