Spratt Point


Spratt Point (52˚12'00" 128˚10'00" E side of Kynumpt Hbr, N end of Campbell I, N of Bella Bella). This feature is probably named after Capt Charles Spratt, a pioneer BC mariner who operated the tug Czar, which was built in Victoria in 1896 for Vancouver’s Hastings Mill. Spratt later owned the sternwheeler Strathcona, which he ran on Howe Sd and the E coast of Vancouver I.
