Spípiyus Point


Spípiyus Point (49˚40'30" 123˚51'50" W side of Sechelt Inlet, opposite Narrows Inlet, NW of Vancouver). Spípiyus is the Sechelt First Nation word for marbled murrelet, an endangered seabird that feeds in adjacent waters and nests at high altitudes in the old-growth trees of the Sechelt Peninsula.
