Smith Island


Smith Island (54˚09'00" 130˚14'00" Just W of mouth of the Skeena R, S of Prince Rupert). British civil engineer Marcus Smith (1815–1904) had worked in England, Wales and S Africa before coming to Canada to join the staff of the Intercolonial Rwy.
