Sibell Bay


Sibell Bay (48˚59'00" 123˚47'00" NE side of Ladysmith Hbr, SE side of Vancouver I). Cdr John Parry, in charge of the RN survey vessel Egeria, named this feature in 1904 after Sibell Brandon, the sister of one of his lts, Vivian Brandon. Lt Brandon and Lt George Nares were responsible that year for the re-survey of Ladysmith Hbr.
