Scroggs Rocks


Scroggs Rocks (48˚25'00" 123˚26'00" Entrance to Esquimalt Hbr, SE end of Vancouver I). Edward Scroggs was a mate on the RN survey vessel Herald, under Capt Henry Kellett, and helped make the earliest detailed charts of Victoria and Esquimalt harbours, Sooke Inlet and Juan de Fuca Str in 1846–47. He was promoted to lt in 1847. W
