Schreiber Point

Schreiber Point (54˚21'00" 130˚17'00" N side of Prince Rupert Hbr). Sir Collingwood Schreiber (1831–1918), an engineer and civil servant, was born in England and immigrated with his family to Canada in 1852. He became chief engineer of all federal government railway operations in 1873 and replaced Sandford Fleming as the CPR’s chief engineer in 1880.
