Salmon Channel


Salmon Channel (50˚43'00" 126˚49'00" Between George Passage and Nowell Channel, W of Bonwick I, E end of Queen Charlotte Str). RN officer Nowell Salmon (1835–1912) entered the RN in 1847 and served as a midshipman aboard HMS Thetis, under Capt Augustus Kuper, on the Pacific Station, 1851–53.
