Princess Royal Reach


Princess Royal Reach (50˚02'00" 123˚52'00" Between Queens Reach and Prince of Wales Reach, Jervis Inlet, NW of Vancouver). Named about 1860 by Capt George Richards of HMS Plumper after Princess Victoria (1840–1901), the eldest child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. In 1858 she married Prince Frederick of Prussia (1831–88) and later became the empress of Germany and queen of Prussia.
