Plover Point


Plover Point (49˚12'00" 125˚46'00" E side of Meares I, E of Wood Its, Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I), Plover Reefs (49˚11'00" 126˚05'00" S side of Brabant Channel, W of Blunden I, Clayoquot Sd). The Plover Reefs were named by Capt George Richards of HMS Hecate in 1861, after HMS Plover, a vessel he knew well.
