Piper Point


Piper Point (49˚33'00" 123˚48'00" SW side of Sechelt Inlet, NW of Vancouver). After Private James Cleland Richardson, VC (1895–1916), who was a piper with the Seaforth Highlanders. He came to Vancouver from Scotland in 1913 and worked at a False Ck factory while the rest of his family moved to Chilliwack, where his father had been named chief of police.
