Pelican Cove


Pelican Cove (52˚21'00" 131˚15'30" SE side of Burnaby I, off SE Moresby I, QCI), Pelican Point (52˚21'00" 131˚15'00" S entrance to Pelican Cove). Named by the hydrographic service in 1962 after Dr Charles Newcombe’s 5.5-m open sloop Pelican, which the ethnologist used to explore the QCI in 1897.
