Poole Inlet


Poole Inlet (52˚22'00" 131˚18'00" SE side of Burnaby I, off SE Moresby I, QCI), Poole Point (52˚22'00" 131˚15'00" SE tip of Burnaby I). Mining engineer Francis Poole, hired by the Queen Charlotte Mining Co of Victoria, searched for copper in the vicinity of Poole and Skincuttle inlets, 1862–64.
