Peck Shoal


Peck Shoal (53˚28'00" 129˚56'00" Off S side of Anger I, Principe Channel, between Banks I and Pitt I). Named in 1944 after Lt Donald Peck, a member of BC’s Fishermen Reserve Service in WWII. Peck was skipper of HMCS Moolock (FY 16), one of six patrol boats built in BC for the FRS, and towed the Canadian Hydrographic Service houseboat Pender in this area on several occasions in 1943.
